5 Day Uganda National Park Safari
Day One: Kampala –Kibale
Take Breakfast and drive westwards via Mubande to Fort Portal. From Fort Portal we will then carry on to our first destination, Kibale National Park for a stay within the Tropical Rain forest. This forest is home to the largest number of Man’s closest clones the Chimpanzees. Dinner and overnight at Primate Lodge Kibale/ Ndali Lodge/ Rwenzori View Guest House/Sky Tree House
Day Two: Chimpanzee Safari in Kibale Forest
The tracking will start with a visit to the Uganda wildlife headquarters for briefing after which you start searching for these human look alike. During the walk you may stop to listen to the calls of the chimps to avoid bypassing them. The walk will be guided providing information about chimps, other primates, fauna and flora making it informative and interesting. After the walk you will have lunch and then go for a nature walk to Bigodi wetland sanctuary, it has a lot of rare species to offer, both fauna and flora. Dinner and overnight at Ndali Lodge / Mountains of the Moon / Primates lodge
Day Three: Journey to the Magnificent Murchison Falls National Park
Take breakfast very early in the morning before you continue to the park. If time allows, you will drive to the top of the falls for your million dollar view of the Nile’s beauty. Here you will have the opportunity to see the calm Nile forcing its self through a narrow gorge to fall a distance of about 150 ft down with a thunderous roar of white water like you have never heard. Dinner and overnight at Paara Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River Lodge or Red chilli
Day Four: Murchison Falls Morning Game Drives & the Nile Launch Cruise
Wake up to your well prepared breakfast before you take off for your early morning game drive in the northern circuit of the park. This drive will reward you with big and small game like, Giraffes, leopards, hyenas, lions, jackals, Cape buffalo, Oribi, Warthog, elephants, buffaloes, Uganda Kob and many more. You will have a lunch break before you go for the Boat/launch cruise that will take you to the bottom of the falls. While enjoying the stunning water sight your cruise may be rewarded with views of water animals like the crocodiles, buffaloes, hippos and plenty of birds. Dinner and overnight at Paraa safari lodge,Sambiya River Lodge/ red chilli
Day Five: Nature walk or Chimp safari
Today you have to make a choice between the Nature walk or Chimp tracking. You will do one of the two after which you will go for lunch before you embark on your journey back to Kampala where the safari ends.
